The case number is a total of 10 digits. The first 4 digits are the year. Example: 2006

The remaining 6 digits are the case number itself. If the case number is less than 6 digits, then it must be preceded with zeros. Example 8134 would be entered as 008134 and 954 would be entered as 000954.

Thus the entire case number would be entered as
2006008134 or 2006000954.
