Scott Price was appointed by Pat O'Brien as Chief Deputy for the Pulaski Circuit/County Clerk's office on January 1, 2005. Scott is a native of Salem, Arkansas and graduated from Salem High School in 1986. He graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 1991 with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and obtained a Master's degree in Secondary Education from the U of A in 1993.
From 1992 to 1994, Scott worked in administration for the Fayetteville Public Schools and spent the summers of 1992 and 1993 working as a counselor for the Fayetteville Youth Center. From 1994 to 2004, he worked as an executive assistant to Don Nelms, owner of the Nelms Auto Stores in Fayetteville. During that time, he was a member of the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce and from 1996-2000 was the Treasurer for the Democratic Party of Washington County.
Scott and his wife, Kyla, now live in Jacksonville and have a six year-old son, Parker. Scott is an avid Razorbacks and St. Louis Cardinals fan. He and his family are members of the First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville.
