| Overview of the Clerk's Office |
The Pulaski Circuit/County Clerk's office has 95 employees and administers a budget of over $5 million annually. Our office serves as the Voter Registrar for Pulaski County. Our office also handles records ranging from adoptions, marriage licenses, divorces, child support payments, felonies, real estate, civil lawsuits and probate. Only 19 of the 75 Arkansas counties have a combined Circuit and County Clerk. The remaining counties elect Circuit and County Clerk's separately.
Our office provides support to the 17 Circuit Judges in Pulaski County. We work closely with the Prosecuting Attorney and the Public Defender. In the real estate division, we handle the records for every land transaction that is conducted in Pulaski County and work closely with title companies.
In the future, our goal is to provide all non-confidential records online for the public to access. We would also like to provide e-filing of documents for attorneys. In the meantime, we are focused on fixing the voting rolls and conducting model elections.
